sCMOS Microscope Cameras

sCMOS Microscope Cameras radically upgrade the performance of your fluorescence microscope. Large portfolio of multi-megapixel sCMOS cameras offer large field of view and high resolution at rapid frame rates, whilst simultaneously delivering low noise sensitivity and wide dynamic range.

Key benefits:

  • Large Field of View and High Resolution
  • Up to 95% QE and low noise
  • High speeds up to 100 fps
  • Global and Rolling Shutter
  • SRRF-Stream+ (Real Time Super Resolution) available

Sona model

Sona is high performance sCMOS camera series, specifically for life science imaging applications. It provides the perfect balance of sensitivity, speed and resolution for optimal imaging performance across many applications. The 4.2 Megapixel format with 6.5 µm pixels is ideally suited to the widely used 40x and 60x magnifications. It is the most sensitive back-illuminated sCMOS available.

Zyla model

Zyla 4.2 PLUS benefits from latest generation microlens front-illuminated sCMOS sensor technology from Fairchild Imaging, delivering an impressive 82% QEmax, coupled with sub-electron read noise. It allows shorter exposure times, faster frame rates and reduced phototoxicity.

Neo model

The Neo 5.5 model is based around a large 5.5 megapixel sensor with 6.5 µm pixels and a 22mm diameter, ideal for applications such as cell microscopy, astronomy, digital pathology and high content screening. The Neo 5.5 can deliver 30 fps sustained or up to 100 fps burst. Extremely low darkcurrent means Neo 5.5 is suited to a range of exposure conditions.
