Receipt of information about winning the tender for the supply of LEEM microscope

The Management Board of Sygnis S.A. with its registered office in Straszyn (hereinafter: the Company) informs that today it has received information that the Company has won a tender for the delivery, installation, commissioning and training in the operation of a Low Energy Electron Microscopy – LEEM system, i.e. a low energy electron microscope, for the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science of Jagiellonian University in Cracow, for PLN 5.9 million. The rationale for winning the tender is that the Company submitted the most favorable offer. The Company’s Board of Directors points out that the LEEM microscope is an exceptional research equipment, enabling the expansion of research work on new materials. The purchase of this microscope is part of the ATOMIN 2.0 – ATOM-scale Materials Research Center for an Innovative Economy project implemented by this Department, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, under the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020 (IR OP), Axis IV: Increasing scientific and research potential, Measure 4.2: Development of modern research infrastructure of the science sector. According to the submitted bid, the delivery, installation and commissioning of LEEM will take several months, and the entire bid has been divided into milestones.

The Management Board indicates that the binding document under which the Company will carry out this delivery will be an agreement, the signing of which will be announced by a separate announcement.
