Making delivery of the LEEM microscope

The Management Board of Sygnis S.A. based in Gdańsk (“Sygnis”) informs that the final protocol (without defects and without reservations) of the delivery of the LEEM microscope to the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Informatics of Jagiellonian University in Kraków was signed today, and thus the delivery of this microscope and the required personnel training was completed. This delivery was carried out as a consequence of the agreement concluded on September 6, 2022, which Sygnis informed about in ESPI Report No. 19/2022. The value of the task in question amounted to PLN 4.8 million net (PLN 5.9 million gross), which will be settled in the fourth quarter of this year.

The Board of Directors recalls that the LEEM microscope is a unique piece of research equipment, enabling the expansion of research work on new materials. The purchase of this microscope is part of the ATOMIN 2.0 – ATOM-scale Materials Research Center for an Innovative Economy project implemented by the Department, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, under the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020 (IR OP), Axis IV: Increasing scientific and research potential, Measure 4.2: Development of modern research infrastructure of the science sector.
