Graduate of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw with a specialization in Econophysics. He has been active in the 3D printing industry for more than nine years and runs one of the longest-operating Polish companies in this area – Sygnis SA. He is in charge of managing and representing the Company, as well as coordinating and supervising the Human Resources Department and the Sales Department.

He works closely with scientists and science popularizers, promoting pro-science attitudes and implementing innovative solutions to research institutes and educational institutions. 3D printing expert with many years of experience. He is one of the founders of the Economic Chamber of Industry 4.0 and co-creator of the Code of Ethics of the Polish 3D Printing Industry. He also acts as an expert-employer of the Polish Accreditation Committee, as well as a member of the Scientific Council of the Center for Social and Economic Research (CASE).

An experienced speaker and qualified trainer. He has spoken at, among others: XXXI Economic Forum in Karpacz, “Regiosummit” – Local Government and Economic Diplomacy Summit 2019 organized by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, the International Symposium on Intellectual Property in Industry and Business (13th edition) organized by the Polish Patent Office, as well as the 2nd Maintenance Manager Congress and innoSHARE 2018.

Sygnis SA under his aegis received, among others, the Book of Lists 2019/2020 “Pioneer in New Technologies” Special Award, the EuroSymbol of Innovation 2019, a nomination for the Polish Intelligent Development Award 2019, a nomination for the Puls Biznesu Innovation Architects 2018, and a very good rating in the Innovation Health Check conducted by Enterprise Europe Network. Sygnis was also ranked in the Deloitte Technology Fast50 Central Europe 2021.

Olga Czerwińska holds a PhD in physics from the University of Warsaw and has been part of Sygnis SA’s management team since 2018.

She has many years of experience in conducting scientific research, educating students and organizing scientific conferences of national and international scope. She is an author of scientific articles published in international journals and an experienced speaker with dozens of conference presentations to her credit.

Since 2018, as Chief Scientific Officer, she has been responsible for Sygnis’ cooperation with the scientific community and the Company’s scientific and research development strategy. She manages R&D projects from the formal side, including obtaining and accounting for EU funds, as well as commercialization of R&D results.

Olga Czerwińska was one of the founders of the Warsaw branch of Women in 3D Printing, and is currently involved in mentoring activities at Innovations Hub and the Network of Entrepreneurial Women.

Financial expert with many years of experience. Graduate of the University of Finance and Management. For more than ten years she has gained experience in positions in controlling and financial audit departments. The skills she acquired go back to the corporate structures of the Colgate – Palmolive company, where the international environment opened the door to further development and brought her many ideas for herself. Working in the Accounting Department developed meticulousness and attention to detail, and taught attentiveness in reading the most relevant financial information.

She took the next steps in her career at companies such as Concare IT and Good Looking Studio. The experience she gained allowed her to turn her career around and focus on further activities together with Sygnis SA.

Joanna Danaj controls and optimizes costs, deals with reliable evaluation of investment projects or conducting economic and financial analyses at the highest level. The experience she has gained, as well as her characteristic personal qualities and resistance to stress, allow her to master any of the crisis situations.

Supervisory Board

She specializes in the areas of insurance and operational risk. She has served as an insurance and finance expert and coordinator in Polish and international companies. She is certified as an insurance broker (exam passed before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority in 2016) and has several years of experience in managing substantive teams. Areas of insurance specialization include the construction, industrial and financial sectors.

She is currently a member of a team specializing in insurance within the Controlling and Operational Risk Department of the National Bank of Poland, where she is responsible for, among other things, reviewing insurance contracts submitted by entities required to do so, providing substantive support to other units of the Bank in the area of property and personal insurance, and identifying existing risks and threats in cooperation with other departments of the Bank.

Business consultant in sales management and building effective sales teams. She has many years of experience as a sales manager and as an Interim Manager in sales management. For 9 years she worked with Mercuri International, No. 1 in the international market of consulting and training companies, in designing and implementing development and change projects in sales organizations, 35% in cooperation with leading consulting companies: McKinsey & Company, Ernst&Young, Boston Consulting Group, Arthur Andersen.

Karolina Opielewicz has valuable experience in the area of ESG policy implementation and green transformation of enterprises. She initiated the establishment of the ESG Committee, and within it the ESG School and the National ESG Standard. She actively supports Polish companies in the process of green transformation. She currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Chamber of Commerce and Director of the Office of Communications and Member Affairs.

She started working at the National Chamber of Commerce in 2008 as Assistant to the President. In the following years, she managed the Office for Local Government and Statutory Affairs, while also serving as Director of Protocol in the Office of the President. In 2012, she became director of the combined offices of communications and member affairs, and in 2016 became deputy director general of the PCC. By vote of the General Assembly, in 2021 she became a member of the Board of Directors responsible for the areas of communications, member affairs, the Court of Arbitration and Centrum Kreatywności Targowa.

She is a graduate of the School of Foreign Languages in Poznań, majoring in English Philology, and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, majoring in Law and Administration. In 2021, she completed postgraduate studies in Finance for Managers at the Warsaw School of Economics.

In 2013, he served as due diligence analyst at Giza Polish Ventures, a Polish-Israeli VC fund, later as investment director at seed fund StartVenture@ Poland and as investment manager and managing partner of StarFinder VC. Maciej has worked on some 60 investment processes, and has invested in 29 hard tech startups. 24 of them raised another round of funding, 10 of which attracted additional investment capital to Poland. 3 companies debuted on the WSE, 3 achieved profitable exits.

As part of the Innovative Poland Foundation, he supports building the largest innovation ecosystem in Poland and CEE. He is also the founder and co-founder of many companies, a member of supervisory boards and an investor and business angel: founder/co-founder of Redi sp. z o.o., LoveKrakow sp. z o.o., Office&Cowork Centre SA, BiznesHUB sp. z o.o.. Graduate of AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer engineering in electrical systems. Best student at AGH and 3rd best student of Malopolska in 2009.

Awarded in the Amicus Hominum competition in 2014 for supporting young people in building entrepreneurial attitudes.

President of Creotech Instruments SA, the largest Polish company producing and supplying space technologies and specialized electronics and apparatus to the global market, including for quantum computers, quantum cryptography or quantum and high-energy physics laboratories. He is also, among other things, coordinator of the Sector Council for Aerospace Competence and a member of the Space and Satellite Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw. There he defended his doctoral thesis and carried out his habilitation. He completed postgraduate MBA studies at the Fryderyk Skarbek School of International Trade and Finance in Warsaw.

From 2009 to 2011, he worked at the European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN, where he was responsible for the software of radiation detectors and managed one of the research teams working at the Large Hadron Collider. From 2015 to 2018, he also served on the Board of the Polish Space Agency. In March 2018, he was appointed president of PAK; he served until March 2019.

He has co-authored several hundred scientific articles published in scientific periodicals such as Physical Review Letters, Nuclear Instruments and Methods and Nature, as well as the book “Man. A Cosmic Being.”
