The Management Board of Sygnis S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw (the “Company”) informs that today it has concluded an agreement with the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, on the basis of which it has been granted a license (subject to exclusivity for the Company) to use the invention, i.e. a method of modifying the filament. The license covers the manufacture, marketing (sale) and distribution of products produced as a result of the use of this invention. This license has been granted until June 27, 2033, in the territory of Poland, in exchange for royalties, the amount of which will depend on the revenue from the sale of products made using this invention.
Management indicates that obtaining this license will enable the Company to increase revenue derived from sales of 3D printing accessories/peripherals over the term of the license, i.e. 10 years. The Company will strengthen its presence in the processing and chemical markets. Successful cooperation with Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in the commercialization of the invention will enable further development of the Company’s cooperation with scientific institutions.
