The Management Board of Sygnis S.A., based in Gdańsk (“Sygnis”), informs that today Sygnis has completed the delivery and installation of a stationary, multi-modal lighting, fluorescence and confocal microscopy system (confocal microscope) for an entity based in Bulgaria. The delivery was crowned with the signing of an acceptance protocol for this equipment, without any reservations. The value of the contract is BGN 419 000 (i.e. approximately EUR 214 000).

The Board of Directors indicates that the delivery of this confocal microscope is a consequence of the agreement concluded on January 17, 2024, which Sygnis informed about in ESPI Report No. 1/2024.

In addition to the delivery, installation, commissioning of this confocal microscope and training of personnel in its operation, Sygnis is obliged to provide warranty service and has provided a warranty for a period of 12 months. The microscope in question is model BC43 manufactured by Belfast-based Andor Technology Ltd. (part of the international group Oxford Instruments plc). It is a confocal microscope designed for, among other things, live imaging, allowing in particular the examination of light-sensitive samples.

In addition, the Management Board recalls that this agreement is a consequence of another European tender won in Bulgaria, in which Sygnis participated, in line with the implementation of the adopted development strategy for commercial expansion in Southern European countries.
